Every year The Tucson Bead Show is the place to be for anyone in the business of making jewelry and other creations involving beads, gems, minerals, etc, from all over the world. Merchants Overseas had a large exhibit area in the Grand Pavilion where we showcased our amazing collections of Crystallized(TM) – Swarovski Elements while also showcasing our new BEADELLE(TM) line of Pave´ beads, Pave´ clasps, Rhinestone Balls, Rondelles & Squardelles, Crystal Splash, Crystal picture frames, and most importantly the Crystal Buckles!
The BEADELLE(TM) Crystal Buckles are a great product due to their endless creating possibilities. They are great when used with fabric or ribbon, and are perfect as event decor. They are currently available in round, oval, rectangle, square, heart, and half circle shapes. We had a great response to the buckles from show goers which was very exciting! Now only available in silver-plating, Merchants plans on extending the line to offer gold plated buckles as well!

Flat Backs No Hotfix (NoHF) are loose crystal elements with Platinum Foiling on the back for extra brilliance and protection. Flat Backs NoHF are easy to apply to a variety of materials using standard one – or two part epoxy glues/adhesives.

Flat Backs with Hotfix (HF) are also loose crystal elements with a flat reverse side that has been pre-coated with a heat sensitive glue. These Flat Backs are easily applied by heat to a range of textile carrier materials and produce a durable and long lasting crystal sparkle.

Whether you are getting married this year, or just attending a special event, it is always helpful to know quick and easy ways to look amazing with stuff you already own. Shoes are always going to be important no matter what the outfit or occasion, and that’s why it is well worth an extra couple of minutes to make sure you get it right.
When it comes to special occasion shoes, you have 2 choices. By something in a retail store, or you can improve the shoes you already own.
A great way to do this is simply by adding Shoe clips! Not only can you use shoe clips on different shoes, they easily can be taken off and you have your original shoes back. You can easily go from Day to Night with these.
These particular shoes are plain, inexpensive, black satin shoes. The shoe clips are plain metal, you can buy a pack of 12- 6 gold and 6 silver for around $4.99 on ebay or your nearest craft store.
Now if you like this look, the fun and easy part includes gluing (using a 2-part epoxy glue) a Crystallized(TM) Swarovski (4759) 28mm Flat Back Fancy Stone onto each shoe clip. Give the glue about 15 minutes to dry and just clip! And your done!

January 13th to 15th, Merchants Overseas was an exhibitor at the The Special Event Show which took place at the Ernest Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Overall the show went great and we had an amazing response from show visitors!
TSE is dedicated to all things wedding, anniversary, gala event, corporate meeting and the like. Our booth was amazing and showcased how crystal can help make that big day, even more wonderful. NEW products that were introduced were the BEADELLE(TM) Crystal Buckles, Pave´ Beads, Pave´Magnetic Clasps, Rhinestone Balls, and Crystal Splash. We also had samples or our partial packs and designs using Crystallized(TM) Swarovski Elements.Overall the show went great and we had an amazing response from show visitors who loved the new Beadelle(TM) line.
Our booth included Product Sample boards, Inspiration guides, Product Information sheets, How-To Project Cards, DIY bridal projects, and much more.
